Hervey Bay - Pialba - Fraser Coast

Hervey Bay was a last minute decision on the road as we were heading in that direction.  I had been talking to Carolyn on the phone as we drove towards this area and once talking to her we made the decision to go.  Their family had enjoyed their stay at Hervey Bay so that was enough to make us have a look.  In the end we could not have been happier.
Our amazing view from our caravan at Pialba Caravan Park

The park where we stay was right next door to a free water park and our caravan was on the front row of the beach side caravan park.  We had an amazing view, a large grass area out the front of us and huge trees that the kids could climb non stop.  The kids really enjoyed themselves here.  They enjoyed the water park that they ventured there a couple of times and they built many fabulous sand castles.

We enjoyed the nice days and relaxed while still being able to see the area.  We did not go to any large attractions in the area but walked along the beach at Torquay (Hervey Bay) and sat on the pier at Scarness.  It was a lovely place to stop and take a deep breath.
